How does it work?
Ravenheat's CSI 85 condensing combi boiler works far more efficiently than traditional boilers. Conventional units lose up to 30% of their heat through the flue. The CSI 85 recovers most of this heat by safely condensing heat from the fumes, thereby achieving efficiencies of 96%.
After the initial fitting of the heat exchanger and fan, the CSI 85 is equipped with Ravenheat's unique and patented, aluminium heat exchanger.
This self contained unit not only ensures that the maximum heat is extracted from the outgoing flue gasses but that the fumes are safely guided away.
Ravenheat are the only U.K. manufacturer currently fitting a second plate heat exchanger after the exhaust fan.
Flue Options
The new CSI 85 can be fitted with a standard (concentric) flue duct or a twin (eccentric) flue duct, which can be installed either vertical or horizontal, depending on the customer's requirements.
Normally supplied with a 1 metre standard horizontal flue kit, this can be etended to 2.5 metres if required, or 3.5 metres vertical. Alternatively, eccentric flue ducting is ideal for covering long distances and when used with a special Ravenheat connector this can be extended up to 22 metres air intake/exhaust.
